Let’s start the training by explaining an important but not always well-understood concept.

Some people talk about the primary and secondary sides of a transformer, while others talk about the HV and LV sides.

And people often make the mistake of saying that the primary corresponds to the HV side of the transformer and the secondary to the LV side.

While this is by far the most frequently used configuration, it can also be the opposite.
